Kumamoto Castle Main Keep Plaza
At Kumamoto Castle, the symbol of Kumamoto City, you can enjoy special events while discovering its newly revealed charms. Kumamoto Castle sustained extensive damage in the Kumamoto Earthquakes. However, visitors can now view the damage and ongoing restoration efforts.
Witness Kumamoto Castle as it can only be seen today at the Main Keep Plaza, where you can enjoy a meal featuring locally sourced ingredients alongside performances of traditional arts and live music.
