  • 編布とは、縄文時代に編まれた布の編み方のこと。体験ではコースター作りに挑戦します。横糸には麻糸を、縦糸には毛糸を使用。約10㎝幅に麻糸を広げ、編み込みのように毛糸で麻糸を固定していく作業を繰り返して、完成。
    Make your own coaster using ancient Japanese weaving techniques.
    How it works: Spread linen threads about 10 cm wide, then weave wool yarn through them to create the coaster. Repeat the process until it is complete.
    What you’ll learn: The basic weaving method used in Japan’s Jomon period (about 3,000–10,000 years ago).
