  • 熊本市の有形文化財にも指定されている「聖観世音菩薩像」。来迎院では、日本一の生き人形師と名高い熊本県出身の松本喜三郎の作品を見ることができます。天才生人形師の力作だけあり、その表情は血が通っていそうなほどリアルです。
    The “Shokanzeon Bosatsu Statue” is designated as a Kumamoto City’s tangible cultural property.
    At Raikoin Temple, you can see the artworks of Matsumoto Kisaburo, Japan's most renowned creator of
    lifelike dolls and a native to Kumamoto prefecture. Because those dolls are his masterpiece,
    they look almost alive with the details such as the facial expressions.
