  • 飛鳥時代から奈良時代にかけて仏教の伝来とともに伝わった組みひもの技術は、 仏具や装飾ひもに使われました。ダンボールで作った台に毛糸をひっかけて作り上げる組みひも体験ができます。
    The technique of kumihimo braiding was introduced to Japan during the Asuka and Nara periods along with the spread of Buddhism.It was used for Buddhist ritual objects and decorative cords.
    In this workshop, participants create kumihimo braids by weaving yarn on a simple cardboard braiding stand.
