    Tabaruzaka is known as the site of the fiercest battles of the Satsuma Rebellion—also called the Seinan Civil War—Japan's last civil war. The museum has been reopened, so you can learn about the details of the Satsuma Rebellion and the historical background that led to the conflict. Also, you get to know about the unexpected connection to Lord Kato Kiyomasa.
